Ahead of the World Cup semi-final match against France, Spain's head coach, De la Fuente, gave an interview to Cadena SER.
Speaking about Lamin Yamar, De la Fuente said, "Lamin's best game in this World Cup is yet to come, that's all I have to say."
The Spanish coach added, "Show him the French team's goals? There's no need. He's very motivated right now. He will leave a great impression at this World Cup."
De la Fuente also specifically mentioned Pedri. He made the decision not to start Pedri in the previous match against Belgium.
Pedri is not at his best after an extremely demanding season.
De la Fuente stated, "Pedri can't play for the Spanish national team like he did for Barcelona. Our playing philosophies are different."
