According to the Daily Mail, Trump's representative Andrew Giuliani stated that the United States supports England winning the World Cup.

Donald Trump’s World Cup representative, Andrew Giuliani, said the United States supports England to win the World Cup.

He told the Daily Mail: "If the United States can't win the title during our 250th anniversary, then it would be a great storyline for England to come to the United States and win the title during our anniversary celebrations."

“I understand that England has suffered for 60 years, so if they win this tournament, it will be a wonderful victory for them.”

“I do believe England can go all the way; they are one of the strongest teams left.”

Giuliani stated that President Trump is closely monitoring England striker Harry Kane's performance in the tournament. Trump wrote on social media last week that Kane is a "great player" and a "great person."

He said, "A few years ago, I played golf with President Trump and a group of people, and Wayne Rooney was there too. The president knows a lot about football, and I think that stems from his relationship with his son Barron."

Giuliani added: "Kane is England's top scorer, and he will be the main reason if they want to win this competition."

"He is one of the core players of the team, and he and Bellingham are both excellent athletes."

"My impression of England is that they are an extremely balanced team. They must have confidence, and the coach must constantly emphasize to them that they have the potential to win the title."

Previously, England captain Harry Kane confirmed that he had played golf with the American leader and described it as a rather fantastic experience.

Kane stated that this incident occurred later in 2024 in Florida. Trump was 78 years old at the time, and Kane said he admired Trump's golf skills.

He said, "To be honest, I played pretty well. He invited me to play golf with him 18 months ago when I was in Palm Beach."

"So, when the president invites you to a place, meeting him and playing golf with him is truly a dream experience."

"To be honest, he plays golf really well. I hope that when I'm his age, I can play as well as he can, that's for sure."

"It was a unique experience, and I'm very grateful to him for inviting me to play ball with him."
