TA: Balogun signs with Rich Paul's agency, becoming colleagues with superstars like LeBron James.

On July 14, according to TA, after a brilliant performance in the World Cup, US forward Balogun has signed with the renowned agency Klutch Sports.

Balogun was a key figure in the US team's World Cup journey, delivering an outstanding performance in the team's resounding victory over Paraguay, scoring three goals in the tournament. He then received a red card in the Round of 32 match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the penalty was overturned, allowing him to play in the knockout stage match against Belgium, a game the US ultimately lost. During the World Cup, he was also embroiled in a media storm and political controversy as a result.

Klutch Sports, founded by LeBron James' longtime friend Rich Paul, represents James, Philadelphia Hawks quarterback Jalen Hertz, ten-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis, and other elite athletes. The agency announced the signings via social media on Monday.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Klutch CEO Paul said that Balogun is "one of the most talented and influential players in world football today," adding that his "relentless fighting spirit and cultural influence represent the standard of excellence we hope to continue to bring to the sport." Balogun's previous agency was the UK-based Elite Projects Group.

Klutch had not previously been directly involved in football agency work, but it acquired the European agency "Rooftop," which represents American midfielders Malik Tillman and Giovanni Reyna, as well as other well-known players and coaches. This signing comes at a crucial time for Balogun, who may transfer this summer.

According to TA journalist David Ornstein, Monaco will demand approximately €50 million for Balogun. Given the interest from several clubs in England and Italy surrounding the 25-year-old, he is expected to leave this summer.

Balogun, a product of Arsenal's youth academy, has scored 31 goals in 91 appearances for Monaco since joining the French club three years ago. Under contract terms, Arsenal will receive a 17.5% cut if Monaco sells him. Last season, he scored 19 goals for Monaco in all competitions, including three against Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain. Monaco finished seventh in the league.
