According to The Sun, Tuchel is in a relationship with his Brazilian girlfriend, Natalie Marks, in London, and she will become England's "first lady" at the World Cup.

52-year-old Tuchel is leading England in their quest for the World Cup title, with Max by his side.

Before Max, Tuchel was married to journalist Sissi Tuchel for 13 years, and the two separated in 2022. The divorce made headlines in Germany at the time, just after Tuchel moved into a new home in Surrey with her two children, Emma and Kim.

Speaking about the move, then-Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said: "It was a long summer, but it didn't feel long because I was in Paris helping my family settle into a house and letting the kids finish their studies there. Now they're here with me, very close, which is great, and it should be this way. It's good to be back, it feels great."

However, just a few months later, reports revealed the couple's "regrettable" breakup, with custody of their daughters being the top priority after the divorce papers were filed.

After his divorce, Tuchel began dating the Brazilian woman during his 21 months managing Chelsea. In September 2022, Chelsea's new owner, Burley, sacked Tuchel on his 100th day in charge, after the team had suffered its third defeat of the season. According to The Independent, Chelsea players were also discussing Tuchel's private life at the time, especially the appearance of his new girlfriend.

Tuchel left Chelsea with three trophies, which Burley believed was "the right time to change managers." The former Bayern Munich manager was officially appointed England manager at the end of 2024, and is expected to use London as his base.

There is much speculation about whether Max—a business consultant and mother of two—will accompany him to London. Max is 13 years younger than her boyfriend, dislikes the public eye, and values her privacy.

In the summer of 2022, the two were photographed on a romantic holiday in Sardinia, and there were even rumors that they stayed in a luxury villa costing £20,000 per night. A few years earlier, Tuchel had already signed a lucrative contract with the Football Association to succeed Southgate as England manager.

After that, Tuchel led England through the World Cup qualifiers and into the semi-finals, where they will face Argentina and strive to reach the World Cup final for the first time since 1966.
