According to the Daily Mail, after England lost 1-2 to Argentina in the World Cup semi-final, Bellingham could not hide his disappointment and tried to hold back his tears with the comfort of his family and friends.
Bellingham was considered one of England's best players in this World Cup, but he couldn't maintain the form that led his team to victory against Norway. Although England took the lead through Anthony Gordon, defending champions Argentina staged a comeback with late goals from Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez to advance to the final at New York-New Jersey Stadium on Sunday.
Long after the final whistle, Bellingham remained on the field. Earlier, he had a heated exchange with Argentine substitute player Barco.
Footage from the scene showed the Real Madrid midfielder then walking toward his family, embracing his father Mark Bellingham and mother Denise Bellingham, while wiping away tears.
Bellingham's friend and England teammate Morgan Rodgers was also photographed hugging his parents.

In addition, 23-year-old Bellingham sat next to his 28-year-old girlfriend Ashlyn Castro, and both of them appeared to be in low spirits.
