He revealed that the embassy has received invitations from several Chinese provinces and is making every effort to facilitate the Cape Verdean national team's visit to China for a friendly match. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cape Verde, and he believes that football is an excellent opportunity to promote mutual understanding between the two peoples.

We are in discussions with the Cape Verdean Football Federation to organize a video conference with Chinese media to discuss potential collaborations. On one hand, this would provide an opportunity for the federation and players to personally express their gratitude to the Chinese people for all the support and encouragement, and to thank the Chinese media and people. On the other hand, it would also allow us to explore the feasibility of a visit to China for the Cape Verdean national team.
