According to Melbourne City's official report, Australian goalkeeper Patrick Beach has permanently transferred to Troyes in Ligue 1, with the transfer fee undisclosed.

Melbourne City has confirmed that Australian national team goalkeeper Patrick Beach has joined French Ligue 1 club Troyes on a permanent transfer; the transfer fee was not disclosed.

Beech left Melbourne City after three seasons. During those three years, he excelled, developing into one of Australia's best young goalkeepers, becoming an A-League champion, an Australian international, and Australia's number one goalkeeper at the World Cup.

The 22-year-old Beech has made 64 appearances for Melbourne City in all competitions, keeping 25 clean sheets, and has become one of the best goalkeepers in the A-League.

In Melbourne City's quest to win the 2024-2025 season title, Beech started every game and shut out Melbourne Victory in the final to seal the season.

Riding on his excellent form at club level, Beach made his Australian national team debut in November 2025 against Venezuela, where he was named Man of the Match.
