Schalke took some time to relax and watched the World Cup during their training camp break.

In the early hours of July 20th, Beijing time, Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time to win the 2026 World Cup title.

According to Schalke's official announcement, the team organized a break during their preseason training camp to watch the World Cup live together.

Schalke were promoted from the 2. Bundesliga this season, and their first official match of the new season will be held on August 22 (German Cup against Hallescherk).
