Full text of the open letter:
On behalf of the players, coaching staff, management, and all personnel, the Argentine Football Association extends its deepest gratitude to every Argentine who has supported the team during the 2026 World Cup. In every stadium, in every city, and from every corner of the country, the support of the fans has been a continuous driving force for the team's journey to the final once again. The love, flags, messages, convoys, hugs, and unconditional support received along the way once again prove that the Argentine team belongs to all Argentinians. Every player felt this support on the field, and every member of the delegation was proud to represent a nation that has never stopped believing in and supporting them.
The final result prevented them from defending their title, but the connection transcends any victory or defeat. Following the final, some players will travel directly from the United States to their respective destinations, either returning to their clubs or beginning their vacations. Meanwhile, a delegation comprised of players, coaching staff, and personnel will return to Argentina tomorrow, expected to arrive around 5 PM. Thank you for your unwavering support, in both joyous and challenging times. Because this jersey is defended by all of us, the pride of representing Argentina will continue to fuel our determination to face future challenges.
