According to Sport Bild, Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez has been embroiled in controversy online after Spain defeated Argentina to win the World Cup.

The incident began when a social media account, suspected to be hers, posted "Goodbye, Argentina," which sparked discontent among some Argentine fans.
In response to the accusations, Georgina later clarified through another social media platform, emphasizing that the provocative text was not posted by her, but by someone impersonating her. She stated that she had contacted the platform's administrators to resolve the issue and thanked her fans for their reminders and support.
The controversy escalated rapidly because of Georgina's background—she was born in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, but grew up in Spain and holds both Argentine and Spanish citizenship. Reports indicate that she herself identifies more as Spanish.
Georgina simply celebrated Spain's 1-0 victory over Argentina in a normal way, without any provocation. She posted a photo on social media of fireworks over Metropolitan Life Stadium in New Jersey, accompanied by a red heart emoji.
