Argentine international Carlos McAllister published a lengthy post on his personal social media, reflecting on the team's experience in this World Cup, expressing gratitude to fans, family, and all supporters, while also looking to the future and emphasizing the importance of unity and belief.

McAllister said: "We were so close...that's why it was so painful. But no one can take away everything we went through together during this World Cup. The feelings you gave us were extraordinary. We experienced pain and adversity, but we made it through together. Please never forget this: when we are united, we are stronger than anyone else."
Some moments will forever remain in our lives and hearts. Just like I will never forget that day in 2022 when we walked the streets of Buenos Aires with our people, wearing our World Cup medals, sharing tears and joy. This World Cup also left us with two indelible images, reflecting the people's identification with this national team and bringing solace to the hearts of all Argentinians.
The first image is of the Argentinians in the stands singing wildly after we received our World Cup runner-up medals. Family, friends, and fans made any other celebration secondary. The second image is of the welcome we received upon returning to Buenos Aires. Despite the rain and cold, your love for your country and your national team was undeniable. Please forgive me for saying this, but you were absolutely ecstatic, and we loved it!
Cry, because we are Argentinians, and we always want to win. But after the tears, let's get back up, unite, and keep moving forward, because this will continue. These past few days, my mother has reminded me of an old saying: 'As long as there's a chance to compete again, there's nothing to fear.'
Finally, I want to express my eternal gratitude to our family and friends, to everyone who works silently for this national team, and to those who have been with us year-round, supporting us through thick and thin. You are an important part of who we are today.
Thank you to all the loving and supportive messages from Argentinians. You have no idea how important you are to us on this journey. I also want to thank those from other countries who sent messages mocking us or rejoicing in our suffering. You unintentionally helped us become prouder of being Argentinian every day.
Thank you, Argentina! 🇦🇷
