In the recently concluded World Cup final, Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 to win the championship.

Spain's starting striker Oyarzabal has performed brilliantly in this World Cup, scoring 5 goals for the team, making him the team's top scorer, and also providing 1 assist.

After the celebrations concluded, Oyarzabal returned to his hometown of Eibar to celebrate with family and friends.

Eibar Mayor Iraola also spoke on Tuesday, praising Oyarzabal: "Oyarzabal performed exceptionally well in this World Cup, scoring five goals and making a decisive contribution to Spain's World Cup victory. Oyarzabal is an outstanding ambassador for the city of Eibar, not only because he is a top footballer, but also because he is a person of high character, possessing all the most admirable values of an athlete: loyalty, hard work, humility, respect, and a spirit of sacrifice."

"Whether on or off the field, Oyarzabal has perfectly embodied Eibar's values. The city government has proposed initiating the relevant procedures to award Oyarzabal the honorary title of 'Son of Eibar' because he fully meets all the requirements stipulated in the Municipal Honors and Awards Ordinance."
