However, at the FIFA level, Real Madrid is not considered a team with a champion player, because Cucurella is recognized as a Chelsea player who won the title.

Two other players who transferred during the World Cup, Muñoz and Grimaldo, also had this problem. Muñoz won the World Cup as a player for Osasuna, while Grimaldo won the World Cup as a player for Bayer Leverkusen.
