According to French media outlet Foot Mercato , French coach Renard, despite his short tenure with the Tunisian national team, has attracted the attention of several other national teams.

French media outlet Foot Mercato reports that Renard remains highly respected in Africa and Asia thanks to his impressive resume, particularly his memorable stint coaching the Saudi national team. He led Saudi Arabia to considerable success, making him one of the region's most popular coaches.
According to South Korean media reports, Renard is currently at the top of the shortlist to succeed Hong Myung-bo as the South Korean national team coach. Hong Myung-bo resigned after South Korea's elimination in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Renard is also attracting national team attention outside of Asia. He remains a top contender in Africa, with the South African team considering him as a replacement for Belgian Hugo Bross.
The French coach is once again under consideration by Senegal. The Senegalese Football Federation hopes to strengthen its technical team in the next phase.
In Algeria, if the coaching staff of Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic changes, Renard could be one of the leading names to take over the national team. Reports indicate that his name is on the shortlist of considerations.
Renard has led his teams to two Africa Cup of Nations titles, one each with Zambia and Ivory Coast. He now faces multiple options, and the world awaits his next destination, following a brief stint with the Tunisian national team.
