Jamie Vardy, his former teammate at Leicester City and a member of the 2016 Premier League champions, revealed a surprising anecdote about N'Golo Kanté.
Vardy said, "Kante wanted to represent Mali, not France, as a tribute to his father's background."
Vardy continued, "We convinced him that he would win the World Cup with France. He once gave his Mini Cooper to his parents in the village, and later his teammates teased him about it, so he bought a new one."
