According to reports, the Ecuadorian Football Federation has nominated coach Paulo Bento as a candidate for the vacant national team head coach position and has formally inquired about the possibility of hiring him.
Besides Bento, Mauricio Pellegrino, Roberto Moreno, and Marcelo Gallardo are also considered candidates for the next head coach.
