In an interview with Tuttosport, former Juventus striker Douglas Costa spoke about Juventus, Allegri, Cristiano Ronaldo, Spalletti, and Vlahovic.

Speaking about his time at Juventus, Douglas Costa said, "Agnelli and Paratici spoke to me after the 2016 Champions League match between Juventus and Bayern Munich. I never hesitated, especially since if I had stayed at Bayern Munich, my playing time would have been even less with Ancelotti's arrival. Next year was the World Cup in Russia, and I wanted to participate no matter what. That star-studded Juventus team was only missing a player who could dribble past opponents."
Speaking about his early days working with Allegri, Douglas Costa said, “I got along very well and fell in love with Italy. Allegri taught me that to play football, you have to stay focused at all times and can’t let your guard down for a moment. He helped me change my mindset a lot. Cristiano Ronaldo? He’s so easy to get along with: he’ll joke around when he’s supposed to, but on the pitch he’s a machine. I was very happy to have the opportunity to play with him.”
When asked about his expectations for Juventus in the new season, Douglas Costa said, "I hope Juventus can make everyone fear them again. The team needs to sort out some issues and regain the winning mentality as soon as possible. From this perspective, Spalletti is a guarantee: his teams play very well, and I would be happy to have a coach like him. I will keep Vlahovic up front; as long as he is in good form, he can really decide the game."
