Younis Ebunotalib, a striker of both German and Moroccan nationality, has yet to decide whether to represent Morocco or Germany in the future.

The Frankfurt striker spoke about his national team prospects during the training camp in Graunau, revealing his past contacts with the Moroccan Football Federation and also responding to the possibility of representing Germany.

Ebuno Talib stated, "Representing the national team is clearly one of my goals. I would be willing to play for either Morocco or Germany."

The Frankfurt striker admitted he was very disappointed after not being selected for Morocco's squad for the 2026 World Cup. He stated that he had believed his performance was good enough to earn a place in the Moroccan team.

He said, "I am disappointed, but I respect the decision. I cannot change what has happened, and we will wait and see what the future holds."

When asked if he would accept a call-up to the German national team currently coached by Klopp, Ebno Talib said he wouldn't hesitate. He concluded, "Of course I would accept the call-up. Who would refuse?"
