According to Sky Sports Germany, FIFA is pushing to establish "FIFA Forward Enterprise" to sell commercial rights such as broadcasting, sponsorship, ticketing and licensing, and is expected to raise up to $4.2 billion from external investors.
According to a letter, the FIFA president has offered approximately €35 million to member associations that agree to privatization and has set a deadline for them to respond.
The associations can agree to the plan by September 19 and will receive the funds in return; after the deadline, FIFA expects to release only about 9 million euros.
