According to Mundo Deportivo, Joan Garcia talked about the Cucurella tattoo and joked that if Barcelona wins the Champions League, he will do something too.

Just as Cucurella promised before the 2026 World Cup, he finally got a tattoo of Spain national team coach Luis de la Fuente's face on his body. Joan García joked about it at the Soccerland Catalunya training camp in Tordra. When asked if he would do the same to Flick if Barcelona won the Champions League, the Barcelona goalkeeper laughed and didn't rule out the possibility.

Joan Garcia told the media with a smile: "I'd better not say anything now, because those things might happen later. Obviously, if we win the Champions League, we'll have to do something. I don't know if it'll be a tattoo of Flick's face, because I don't know if it would suit me, but we'll do something."

Joan Garcia also mentioned that he had seen Cucurella's tattoo: "Shaving your head or dyeing your hair is one thing, but a tattoo is for life. But I saw it, and it's pretty good. They added the World Cup trophy and the World Cup logo, which is nice." However, he also indicated in advance that he would ask Cucurella "if he regrets it." Laughter erupted again in the audience. Joan Garcia said, "Cucurella just loves to joke around."

The goalkeeper admitted to making some promises: "I've made some, like dyeing my hair, but I'm still thinking about it." His expression suggested that these weren't things he really intended to do. As for tattoos, that was definitely out of the question. Joan Garcia said, "I don't like them."
